Well I guess you wouldn’t call me a fanboy but I’ve become an iPhone evangelist over the past month. From my experience it’s light years ahead of the win mobile phones as a PDA and it’s a pretty good phone to boot. I predict that you’ll either buy an iPhone or look seriously at buying in 2009.
It's quite likely that I already have looked at an iPhone for this year. :-) If AT&T gains coverage in my area by the time summer hits, I very well may be game for it.
By the way, it's good to see you popping up in my reader again!

Except for the fact, that 1. I don't need a new phone this year, 2. Verizon doesn't carry the iPhone (sorry not switching, too many friends and family are on Verizon-it's free to them), and 3. when I do want the features of the iPhone, I'll just get an iPod touch.

I was on Verizon too, and didn't want to go to AT&T, but I've got no complaints about them so far.
As for going to an iPod touch, then you have to carry 2 devices AND you have to have a Wifi connection to use it for remote desktoping another computer.
2009 isn't up...

Yeah, yeah...;)
I've already said yes to one thing that I didn't think I would (Wii). Doubt my wife would go for that one...;)

I've used an iPhone since they came out. I was both enthusiastic about the iPhone's potential and disappointed with some obviously missing features, such as voice dialing.
The iPhone has steadily improved over the past year and a half. The App Store is the bomb! Lots of applications that are turning in iPhone into a truly mobile computing platform.
Something really cool is that I never call 411 or have the operator place calls for me anymore. I look the business up in maps, I can call them and use the gps to figure out how to get there. Way cool.
